Cardboard Boat Regatta Spring 2010
For this years race we had 6 boats. The team used 6
rolls of water tape, 20 gallons of glue, 100 tubes of caulk, who knows how many
4ft x 8ft sheets of cardboard. We just missed wining the High School Challenge
by 25 points, but we did have one boat make the semi-finals and also earn an
Admirals award. This years team was one of the best groups yet. Great boats,
great teamwork - just need a few more paddling lessons from Mr. Hoffner!
