Ë    goes beyond the minimum of an assignment.

Ë    is able to synthesis and relate large amounts of material.

Ë    always completes work on time and shows pride in his/her work by doing it well and neatly.

Ë    is exceptionally mature.

Ë    accepts constructive criticism as it is intended
              (for the purpose of improvement, not debasement).

Ë    works independently on daily work, test or quizzes. An honors student does not steal another’s work or ideas in order to receive praise or to maintain a certain grade point average.

Rather, he/she truly wants to learn more.

Ë     always adheres to the Bowie High School Honor Code.
