The introduction must identify the relevant independent, dependent and all controlled variables. Independent variables are those that are manipulated, and the result of this manipulation leads to the measurement of the dependent variable. A controlled variable is one that should be held constant so as not to hide the effects of the independent variable on the dependent variable. You are to identify at least three (3+) variables that are controlled.
