This section is an accurate record of all quantitative AND/OR qualitative RAW data, such as a column of results, written observations or a drawing of a specimen. You may not have qualitative data for a lab.
Each data table must have its own specific title and specific heading relevant to the data expressed.
Every number must be clearly indicated in metric units AND level of uncertainty also with metric units. Units and uncertainty can be included in the header of the column. Uncertainty - this relates to the accuracy of your measurements. Click here for more information on uncertainty. "There is no uncertainty associated with counting." (Reference: IB Internal Assessment Online Workshop, 2009 IA Example on Stomatal Density)
Every number must have the correct number of significant digits. Click here for information: Significant Digits (figures)
This section should only have factual information NOT opinion or inference.
This section is just the observed measurements obtained from running the experiment.
